JAALS & FPCC Partnership
On July 11, 2025, the JAALS Foundation formalized a strategic partnership with the Federal Public Complaints Commission (FPCC) a major step forward in our mission to make justice accessible to all Nigerians.
This collaboration reflects our commitment to promoting the rule of law, advancing justice sector reform, and ensuring that equality before the law becomes a lived reality, not just a constitutional promise.
The FPCC plays a vital role in resolving public grievances and addressing everything from administrative injustice to human rights complaints. However, like many public institutions, it faces operational limitations, particularly in funding and capacity. These challenges often limit its ability to respond promptly and effectively to the needs of the people. Recognizing these gaps, the JAALS Foundation is stepping in to provide pro bono legal services and technical support, enabling the FPCC to expand its reach and deliver on its mandate more effectively.
But this is more than legal aid, it’s about building a fairer society. Together, we are strengthening the foundation of justice in Nigeria by ensuring that more citizens regardless of background or location can assert their rights and access redress mechanisms when wronged. This partnership is just the beginning. We invite partners, funders, and advocates to join us in this transformative effort. Together, we can empower more Nigerians to participate in shaping a just and equitable nation.
