In a momentous occasion, the JAALS Foundation signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the KiaKia Cares Foundation. This collaboration marks a significant commitment to fostering eco-friendly advancements within the legal field including The Green Pledge Initiative.
In his remarks, Kelvin Ekoro, the Country Representative of JAALS Foundation, emphasized the importance of aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in taking urgent action to combat climate change and advocating for a greener society. He further stated that both Foundations are determined to advocate for a cleaner environment for the practice of law.
On his part, Isiragbe Aguele Territory Manager KiaKia Finance and Acting Country Representative KiaKia Cares Foundation noted that it has become expedient for legal practitioners in Nigeria to practice their profession in an eco-friendly environment. He said that this initiative has come at the right time when the world is intentional about reducing the impact of climate change.
