Visitation to Correctional Center
JAALS Foundation partnered with the #Walk4justice Initiative on a sensitization walk to advocate for a reform in the justice system as well prisoners well-being. The sensitization saw the team walk from falomo under bridge to the Ikoyi correctional center to donate some wellness materials and empowerment materials such as sewing machine and carpentry tools to promote vocational training in correctional facilities. This sensitization walk was well attended by not only the bar and the bench but also the users of the system.
In attendance were Kate Henshaw, the walk4justice Initiative convener Tolu Aderemi, Managing Partner of Perchstone and Greays, Mr Osaro Eghobahiem, SAN, Mrs Jean Chiazoe Anisere, SAN, friend of the foundation amongst others.
