The Inauguration of the JAALS Student Connect
On July 11, 2024, the JAALS Foundation proudly launched the JAALS Student Connect (JSC) as a precursor to the 6th edition of the annual JAALS Conference. This innovative initiative is dedicated to empowering tertiary students and cultivating the leaders of tomorrow.
Led by a committed 5-member Executive Committee, the JAALS Student Connect seeks to bridge the divide between academic education, the practical challenges of the labour market and governance (at all levels).
The initiative’s key focus areas include:
- Development of both technical and soft skills
- Mentorship and externship opportunities
- Enhancement of public speaking abilities
- Engagement with experienced legal/other professionals
- Participation in the annual flagship event
Join us in nurturing the next generation of brilliant minds. The inaugural lecture, the JAALS Junior Lecture Series (JJLS) is scheduled for October 17th 2024 with renowned legal practitioner, Mr. Yakubu Galadima, Managing Partner of Marble Partners LP as the keynote speaker.
